Yoga in art Family
✨️ Meet the humans behind Yoga in Art ✨️
Yoga in Art is more than artwork - it’s a family, a vision, and a shared love for yoga and mindful living.
🤍 Shankar is the artist and the heart behind Yoga in Art. He is the one who dreamt of this space. A longtime yoga practitioner, he deeply believes that yoga should reach every home through art. Each piece is created with intention, stillness, and respect for the practice.
🤍 Sruthi is the co-creative force and the one who keeps everything flowing behind the scenes. She manages operations, storytelling, and social media, and is also the person who lovingly packages each order with immense care before it is sent out - making sure every piece reaches its new home with warmth and intention.
🤍 Skanda, their little one, is their greatest teacher. Through his natural presence, curiosity, and joy, he reminds them daily that yoga isn’t only on the mat - it lives in everyday moments.
Yoga in Art was born from a shared intention to bring calm, beauty, and mindfulness into living spaces. Thank you for being here and for supporting a small, family-run, heart-led brand ✨
Story of Yoga in Art
YOGA IN ART was born during the pandemic's quiet moments, when the world's slowdown allowed me to reconnect with my Indian roots as an artist. This period of introspection led me to rediscover my passion for yoga, which became an integral part of my daily routine and a profound inspiration for my art.
As an architect, I'm accustomed to working with forms and figures, and I found that yoga's art of shaping the body, mind, and soul resonated deeply with me. I immersed myself in the science of yoga and began drawing my favorite poses.
My artistic style has been heavily influenced by the Bauhaus movement, which I studied in Germany. Characterized by free-flowing curves and soft pastel colors, my artworks are designed to evoke a sense of calm and warmth in any space – whether it's a home or office.
This is how YOGA IN ART came to life – a fusion of art and yoga that celebrates the perfection of the body and the serenity of the mind. Through my art, I aim to inspire others to find peace, balance, and harmony in their own lives.
My passion lies in creating art that inspires people to connect with their daily yoga and wellness practices. Just as yoga is a journey of self-discovery, I believe that art can be a powerful tool for introspection and self-reflection, helping individuals return to their inner selves.
